It’s newsletter time again! I hope everyone had a WONDERFUL holiday and was able to get some golfing in.

A very confusing program that is used by the pros determines the club champion – somehow we can do it too. In 2006 you will be able to watch as your points add up since the tracker will be posted on our website.
The tournament schedule for the 2006 season is posted on the website www.1ar.com/srgc be sure and check it out. Tom Baker is now our Tournament Chairman so remember to send your sign-up sheets to him. You will find his address on the bottom of the sign-up sheet.
February is the start of our new season – please send in your entry form and get ready for another great year of golf! The first tournament will be at Castle Oaks in Ione on Thursday, February 16th.
Membership has been dropping in the last few years – please try and get some of your friends/co-workers/enemies to join us…remember the more people that play = the more fun and prize funds!
Congratulations to Terry Siler. On the 168-yard hole #4 using his 4-iron Terry had a HOLE IN ONE at Ancil Hoffman on December 3rd.
Also, my golfing buddies told me to let you all know that on the 4 par 16th hole at Wildhawk I got an EAGLE! That was way cool and I hope if you haven’t ever had one yet that you get one soon…I figure that was my once-in-a-lifetime shot.
